Q: What are my qualifications at the end of the Academy?
A: Upon successful completion of the Wealth Today Academy, you will be qualified with a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), DFS (FP) 1, 2 and 4.
Q: Are these industry recognised qualifications?
A: Yes, they are recognised courses. This means that you graduate with the relevant ASIC RG146 Tier 1 competencies to provide personal advice in the areas of personal insurance, superannuation and managed funds. Note the RG146 Tier 1 course material is provided and assessed by our Registered Training Orgainisation partners, AAMC Training Group.
Q: How long does it take to complete the Academy?
A: The Academy requires a total of five days in a classroom setting. You can opt to complete the full five days in one week or you can choose to complete the first three days initially, and the remaining two days at the next Academy in your state. Note that whilst some assessments are completed within the classroom, there are additional assignments that are required to be completed outside of the classroom environment. You have six months to complete these, however academy attendees typically find that they can reasonably expect to complete the course requirements over 3-6 weeks alongside their everyday commitments *see training agreement for details.
Q: Am I a qualified Financial Planner at the end of the Academy?
A: Successful completion of the Academy will entitle you to add the qualifications - DipFS (FP) beside your name. It is important to recognize however, that no course can equip you with comprehensive experience in the advice giving process. This experience is gathered progressively over a period of time. Wealth Today and its licensee have an ongoing supervision and mentoring program specifically designed for new entrants into the Financial Services industry.
Q: How soon can I begin earning an extra income?
A: Depending upon your speed of implementation, the potential exists to begin earning an income in just a handful of weeks.
Q: What are the extra demands on my time for providing a financial planning service?
A: With Wealth Today and our back office systems you can provide this service to your clients without substantial increased demand on your time.
Q: Don't I also have to do a lot of administrative work?
A: No! By utilising the Wealth Today back office you can outsource a bulk of the paperwork and strategy implementation.
Q: How can I self fund the cost of the Academy?
A: We will help you become your own adviser so your existing insurance and super policies are transferred across to you, allowing you to receive all the trails that would currently be going to another broker. By applying the newly learned strategies to your personal situation you could earn an income off your personal insurances and investments, which could largely offset the course cost.
Q: What if I don't feel the Academy was worthwhile?
A: We're positive that won't be the case, but regardless, we offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee such that if you believe you have not been equipped with skills and strategies to improve your business within the next twelve months, we will completely refund your academy fees*. Conditions do apply - see below.
